Monferrato Chiaretto DOC (or Ciaret DOC) is a pink colored rosé wine made from Barbera and / or Bonarda Piedmontse and / or Cabernet Franc and / or Cabernet Sauvignong and / or Dolcetto and / or Freisa and / or Grignolino and / or Pinot Nero and / or Nebbiolo grapes (85-100%), with the permitted addition of local non-aromatic red grapes. In short, the whole palette of Piedmont grapes, with the addition of a small handful of international varieties.
Monferrato Chiaretto DOC is a rose to light ruby red rosé wine with a vinous, delicate and pleasant fragrance. The taste is dry and harmonious.
The label may also mention Monferrato Ciaret.
