In the sun-drenched hills of Loazzolo, just south of Canelli and Santo Stefano Belbo, in the Asti province, is one of Italy's smallest DOC regions, and here is the Moscato Bianco-'territory '.
The leading role is taken by a dessert wine in which the Moscato grapes are partially dried prior to pressing. The result is a lovely, welcoming, golden yellow wine, with an intense aroma of vanilla and candied fruit. The flavor is sweet, with a light, typical Moscato note.
