Cortese is the undoubtedly the most indigenous white grape in Piedmont, and it is used in this white wine (85-100%), with the permitted addition of 15% local non-aromatic white grapes.
As is characteristic of Cortese, this white wine has a distinctive light straw yellow color with touches of green.
The scent is characteristic, light and delicate but persistent. It is extremely tasty, dry, balanced and with a comfortably bitter aftertaste.
The wine is grown in 40 municipalities in Monferrato.
