This wine is made from Pinot Nero and/or Chardonnay (90-100%) grapes, with the permitted addition of local non-aromatic white grapes. This is an intense, crystal clear, pink colored, sparkling rosé wine, with fine and persistent bubbles.
The scent of Alta Langa Spumante Rosato DOCG is clean, fruity and complex with hints of yeasts, bread crumbs and vanilla. The flavor is wonderfully dry and well structured.
Produced through 'Metodo Classico', second fermentation in bottle. Mandatory maturation is 30 months in the bottle.
There is also produced a Alta Langa Spumante Rosato Riserva DOCG with the requirement of at least 36 months of bottle refinement.
