Alta Langa Spumante DOCG is a more or less intense straw yellow, crystal clear, sparkling wine, with fine and persistent bubbles.
The nose is clean, fruity and complex with hints of yeast, bread crumbs and vanilla. The flavor is wonderfully dry and well structured.
The grapes are Pinot Nero and/or Chardonnay (90-100%) with the permitted addition of local non-aromatic green grapes.
Produced through the Metodo Classico (second fermentation in bottle) with a mandatory maturation period of 30 months.
There is also a Alta Langa Spumante Riserva DOCG with a mandatory maturation period of 36 months.
