Trentino Superiore Pinot Nero DOC is a red wine based on the Pinot Nero grape (85-100%), with the permitted addition of local red grapes (0-15%).
This is a garnet red wine, sometimes with orange reflections. The scent is delicate, inviting and characteristic of the grape. The taste is dry and full-bodied, with a pleasantly bitter aftertaste.
The mandatory aging period is one year starting with November 1st of the harvesting year.
The wine pairs well with sausages, grilled meat, polenta with mushrooms and hard cheeses.
