This dessert wine has the same grape composition as the not-so-rich in alcohol and full-bodied Trentino Moscato Giallo DOC, namely Moscato Giallo grapes (85-100%), with the permitted addition of local white grapes (0-15%).
Trentino Moscato Giallo Liquoroso DOC is a light yellow to golden yellow dessert wine, with a distinctive, aromatic scent. The taste is rich, delicate and dominated by nutmeg.
This is a liqueur type, commonly found in amphora-shaped bottles, locally known as “Bocksbeutel”.
4 months is the mandatory aging period, before being released onto the market.
The wine can be either enjoyed by itself or with dry sweets and desserts.
