This wine is made from the same grapes as the non-aged Trentino Merlot DOC, namely Merlot (85-100%), with the permitted addition of local red grapes (0-15%).

Trentino Merlot Riserva DOC is a ruby red wine with a distinctive, expressive scent. The taste is dry, mellow and inviting.

The mandatory aging period is 2 years, starting with November 1st of the harvesting year.

The wine pairs perfectly with minestrone (vegetable soup), grilled meat, grostl (beef with potatoes) and Polenta e Osei (local cake).
