The red wine Trentino Cabernet Franc Riserva DOC has the same grape composition as the non-aged type, Trentino Cabernet Franc DOC, namely the Cabernet Franc grape (85-100%) with the permitted addition of local red grapes (0-15%).
Trentino Cabernet Franc DOC is a dark ruby red wine, with a pleasant, herbaceous and ethereal nose. The taste is dry, balanced, full-bodied, with wood notes in the aftertaste.
The mandatory aging period is 2 years, starting with November 1st of the harvesting year.
The wine is a good accompaniment of polenta with mushrooms, beef with potatoes and onions, as well as of semi-hard cheeses.
