This red wine is based on the Merlot grape (85-100%), with the permitted addition of local red grapes (0-15%).
Trentino Superiore Merlot DOC is a more or less intense ruby red wine, which turns to garnet red with age. The scent is distinctive and clear, often with herbal notes. The taste is dry, full-bodied and very inviting.
The minimum aging period is 22 months starting with November 1st of the harvesting year.
The wine combines perfectly with polenta and mushrooms, roasted meats and hard cheeses.
