This white wine is made from the Müller Thurgau grape (85-100%), with the permitted addition of local white grapes (0-15%), with the exception of Traminer aromatico, Moscato Giallo and Moscato Rosa.
Trentino Superiore Müller Thurgau DOC is a white wine varying from straw yellow to golden yellow of medium intensity. The scent is delicate and slightly aromatic, sometimes with herbal notes. The taste is dry, fresh, fruity and harmonious.
The mandatory aging period is 4 months, starting with November 1st of the harvesting year.
A type with longer mandatory aging period is also available, namely Trentino Superiore Müller Thurgau Vendemmia Tardiva DOC, in which case the grapes are harvested late.
The wine pairs well with seafood, crawfish, liver pâté and cheese with herbs.
