This red wine is made from the Lagrein grape (85-100%), with the permitted addition of local red grapes (0-15%).
Trentino Superiore Lagrein DOC is an intense ruby red wine, with violet reflections. The aroma is fruity, distinctive and sometimes slightly herbal and spicy, while the taste is dry, soft and inviting.
The mandatory aging period is 22 months, starting with November 1st of the harvesting year.
The wine pairs well with sausage, polenta, venison and hard cheeses.
