This wine is made mainly from the Nosiola grape (85-100%), with the permitted addition of local white grapes (0-15%), with the exception of Traminer aromatico, Moscato Giallo and Moscato Rosa.
Trentino Superiore Nosiola DOC is a white wine ranging from straw yellow to golden yellow of medium intensity. The scent is delicate, fruity, often flowery, slightly spicy and distinctive. The taste is pleasant, dry, with a slightly bitter aftertaste.
The minimum aging period is 4 months, starting with November 1st of the harvesting year.
Combines perfectly with game, goat, polenta or semi-soft cheeses.
A late harvest type, Trentino Superiore Nosiola Vendemmia Tardiva DOC, is also available.
