Trentino Superiore Cabernet DOC is a red wine made from the Cabernet Sauvignon and/or Cabernet Franc grape varieties (85-100%), with the permitted addition of local red grapes (0-15%).
This is a more or less ruby red wine which turns to garnet red with age. The scent is slightly herbaceous and ethereal, while the taste is dry, rich and slightly tannic.
The minimum aging period is 22 months, starting with November 1st of the harvesting year.
The wine combines perfectly with roasted duck, goat, mountain goat or hard cheeses.
