Trentino Superiore Marzemino di Isera DOC is one of the top red wine from Trentino. The main grape variety of this wine is Marzemino (85-100%), with the permitted addition of other local red grapes (0-15%).
Trentino Superiore Marzemino di Isera DOC is a ruby red wine with a distinctive aroma and a dry, savory and inviting taste.
The minimum aging period is of 10 months, starting with November 1st of the harvesting year, after which the wine can be released on the market.
If the label mentions “Vigna”, followed by the name of a place, it refers to a specific vineyard area or a “micro zone”.
The Marzemino grape variety is also known as Uva Tedesca, meaning “German grape”.
The wine is a good accompaniment to polenta with mushrooms, braised beef and hard cheeses.
