This is Elba's rosé (Rosato), and it contains the same grape varieties as Alba Rosso, namely Sangiovese (60-100%), with permission to use additional local red grapes (0-40%) and green grapes (max. 10%).
The result is a more or less pink-colored rosé, with a vinous and fresh aroma. The taste is dry and harmonious.
The Molise region has historically been so neglected that you can hardly find the origin of its name, beyond that it's believed to have originated from the Middle Ages, where a Normann family, the Moulins, owned large portions of the area as a county.
