Elba has some quite good white wines with their fish dishes, and Elba Ansonica is a good example of this. As the name implies, the grape Ansonica (85-100%) is used for this white wine, and other local green grapes may also be added (0-15%).
This wine spans from straw yellow to amber. The aroma is intense and the taste is balanced and ranges from dry to sweetish.
