The grapes for this sparkling Alba Spumante are the same as for Elba Bianco, namely Trebbiano Toscana, locally called Procanico (50-100%), Ansonica and/or Vermentino (0-50%), together with other local green grapes (0-20%).
The production method is natural fermentation (Metodo Classico or the Champagne method) and the result is a fresh sparkling wine with a persistent foam and bubbles.
This is a light straw yellow white wine with a delicate, delightful aroma, that is served locally as an aperitif.
