Elba Moscato Bianco is a semi-sweet to sweet dessert white wine made from the Moscato Bianco grape (100%).
The production process is the same as for the Elba Ansonica Passito and Elba Aleatico. Meaning that the grapes are gently plucked and afterwards dried for a week in the open air or in specially designed drying rooms prior to pressing.
The result is an intense straw yellow to amber dessert white wine, that has an intense, characteristic aroma and a balanced, smooth taste.
A delicate dessert wine.
Friuli-Venezia Giulia is the smallest of the so-called “Tre Venezie”, which includes the regions Trentino, Veneto and Friuli. The names ‘Friuli’ and ‘Giulia’ refer to Julius Caesar. ‘Friuli’ derives from the Latin ‘forum julii’, modern city Cividale, and Giulia derives from Julius (Caesar).
