Colli Bolognesi Terre di Montebudello Pignoletto DOC is made from Pignoletto grapes (85-100%), with the permitted addition of other non-aromatic white grapes (0-15%).
The wine has a light straw yellow color, sometimes with green hints, the scent is delicate and distinctive, and the taste is dry, distinctive, harmonious and refined.
If the wine contains 4 grams of residual sugar per liter, the label mentions “Superiore” and the wine is slightly sweet.
Best served either as an aperitif (the sweet type), or with fish (the dry type).
A sparkling Colli Bolognesi Terre di Montebudello Pignoletto Spumante DOC is also available.
