Parrina Bianco is a white wine produced from the grapes Trebbiano Toscano, local Procanico (30-50%), and Ansonica and/or Chardonnay (30-50%). Beyond that, other local, non-aromatic green grapes may also be added (0-20%).
The wine is a light golden straw color. The aroma is decidedly vinous, subtle and persistent and the taste is dry, but still velvety with a slightly bitter finish.
Locally this white wine is enjoyed with antipasto, fish and egg dishes.
That Italy in 2011 was the worlds largest wine producer?
