The grape composition is the same as in Parrina Rosso, which is synonymous with Sangiovese (70-100%) and other local, non-aromatic red grapes.
The color of Parrina Rosso Riserva is a ruby red that, with aging, becomes more garnet. The aroma is intense, ample and with a complex bouquet. The taste is dry, almost austere and spartan, and of pronounced fine character.
Parrina Rosso Riserva must age for a minimum of 2 years, of which at least 1 year must be in oak barrels. Finally, the last 3 months of aging must be in the bottle.
Goes with roast.
