This aged red wine preferably uses the Sangiovese grape (85-100%), but other local red grapes can also be added (0-15%). In other words, the same grapes as the regular Montescudaio Sangiovese.
This is an ample and complex, ruby red wine with garnet shadows. The aroma is likewise very complex and ample, and the taste is warm, balanced and persistent.
Mandatory aging is 2 years, of which at least 3 months must be in the bottle.
Served locally with roast dishes.
