Montescudaio is made from the same grapes as Montescudaio Merlot, which of course is Merlot (85-100%), and other local red grapes may also be added (0-15%).
The color is ruby red with orange shadows. The aroma is ample and complex, and the taste is warm, harmonious and lasting.
The mandatory aging period is 2 years, of which 3 months must be in the bottle.
Enjoyed locally with roast.
