This rosé (Rosato) is made from the Sangiovese (40-60%) and Canaiolo Nero (10-30%) grapes, along with other, local, non-aromatic red grapes.
The wine is produced with very little contact with the skins, which gives a pink color to this light red wine. The aroma is fruity and delicate, and the taste is dry, delicate and harmonious.
The wine is released for sale after March 31 of the year after the harvest and is served with the entire meal.
