This red wine is produced from the same grapes as the regular Terratico di Bibbona Rosso. That includes the grapes Sangiovese (35-100%) and/or Merlot (35-100%). These grapes can be used together or alone. In addition, local, non-aromatic red grapes can also be added (0-30%).
The color is an intense ruby red with a tendency towards garnet after aging. The aroma is voluptuous, vinous and elegant. The taste is ample, warm, elegant and with hints of oak.
The mandatory aging period is 18 months, of which at leas 12 must be in oak barrels and begin after November 1 the year of the harvest.
There is also a Rosato made from the same grapes.
