It's the local grape, Sangiovese (35-100%), that is used in this red wine. To that Merlot (35-100%) may also be added. These grapes can be used either together or alone. Additionally, local, non-aromatic red grapes may also be added (0-30%).
This combination produces a ruby red wine with an intense, vinous bouquet. The taste is ample and harmonious.
There is also a Terratico di Bibbona Rosso Superiore, which has a higher alcohol concentration and longer aging period, along with a Rosato.
Goes with the entire meal.
