This rosé (Rosato) comes from the same grapes as the red wine, Sovana Rosso. That is synonymous with Sangiovese (50-100%), together with other local, non-aromatic red grapes (0-50%).
Contact with the skins is limited as much as possible, which gives a pink-colored wine with ruby red reflections. The aroma is vinous and delicate with intense, fruity notes. The taste is dry, balanced and with a slightly acidic aftertaste.
Served locally with most everything on the menu.
