Sovana Aleatico Superiore is produced from the same grapes as the regular Sovana Aleatico Superiore, and that is Aleatico (85-100%), with permission to use up to 15% of other local red grapes.
The result is a vinous and characteristic, intense, ruby red dessert wine with a harmonious, balanced and pleasant taste.
The mandatory aging period is 2 years in oak barrels, together with a period of at least 6 months of bottle aging.
Enjoyed with desserts.
