This Reserve type is produced from the same grapes as the regular Montescudaio Cabernet. As the name implies, it's Cabernet (85-100%), together with up to 15% local red grapes.
The grape combination and aging produces a ruby red wine with shades of garnet. The aroma is ample and complex, while the taste is dry, warm, balanced and persistent.
The mandatory aging period is 2 years, of which 3 months must be in the bottle.
A perfect companion to roast.
