The Vermentino grape is especially known from the neighboring region, Liguria, but in Tuscany it also produces nice results. In this type, there must be 90-100% of the grape, and up to 10% of other local, green grapes can also be added.
The color is a clear, straw yellow and at times with green reflections. The aroma is delicate and characteristic. The taste is dry and smooth.
