Monteregio di Massa Marittima Rosato is a rosé produced from the same grapes as the Rosso version. The grapes consist of Sangiovese (80-100%) with permission to use additional, local, non-aromatic red grapes (0-20%). However, if only one additional grape is used, it may only constitute 10%. If more than one grape is added, the maximum is 20%.
This Rosato is pink-colored with a good intensity. The aroma is vinous with an intense, fruity bouquet, and the taste is dry.
The wine is enjoyed locally with most everything on the menu.
