This red wine is made from the same grape composition as the regular Colline Lucchesi Rosso, namely Sangiovese (45-70%), Canaiolo and/or Ciliegiolo (0-30%), Merlot (0-15%) and other local red grapes (max. 15% with the exception of Aleatico and Moscato, which may only constitute up to 5%).
The grape combination produces a ruby red wine, which with aging becomes more garnet. The aroma is inviting and characteristic, and the taste is dry, harmonious and smooth.
The Reserve must have a minimum 11.5% alcohol concentration, and it can't be bubbly, like with the regular Rosso.
The mandatory aging period is 2 years.
