An interesting and promising red wine based on the same grapes as the ”regular” Capalpio Rosso, which is synonymous with Sangiovese (50-100%), and with the option of adding other local, non-aromatic red grapes (0-50%).
The color is more or less intense ruby red, with a tendency towards garnet with aging. It's ample and has a vinous aroma, is well-tasting, harmonious, dry and sufficiently acidic in the aftertaste.
The mandatory aging period is 6 months in oak barrels, and the wine is first released for sale after June 1 in the third year after the harvest.
Goes perfectly with roast.
