Colli di Parma Chardonnay DOC is a straw-colored white wine made from Chardonnay grapes (95-100%), with the permitted addition of other non-aromatic, certified grapes (0-5%).
The wine has a delicate, fine, aromatic and characteristic scent. The taste is dry, extremely full-bodied, fresh and balanced, with a slightly bitter aftertaste.
A barrel-aged Colli di Parma Chardonnay Riserva DOC, a light sparkling Frizzante and a sparkling Spumante type are also available. The latter is either produced through the Metodo Classico or through the Charmat method. The characteristics of the Spumante type are the same as for the other types, except that it, of course, has fine, attractive foam and persistent bubbles.
