This red wine makes use of an exotic blend of grapes: Sangiovese (50-75%), Canaiolo Nero (5-15%), Ciliegiolo, Colorino, Malvasia Nera, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot (10-15%), together with local red and green grapes (0-20%).
The result is a light and clear red wine. The aroma is vinous, intense and characteristic, and the taste is delightfully smooth and dry.
Montecarlo Rosso is also available as a Reserve.
