The white wine grape Vermentino is well used in the neighboring region Liguria as well as in Sardinia and Sicily, and it also performs in Tuscany with good results.
In Colline Lucchesi Vermentino DOC, there must be at least 85% of the grape present, and it may be supplemented with up to 15% of the local green grapes.
The result is an intense, straw yellow white wine of varying intensity. The bouquet is intense and delicate, and the taste is dry, fruity and smooth.
Goes perfectly with all types of seafood.
