As the name implies, this Tuscan red wine is made from the Merlot grape (85-100%), and up to 15% of local red grapes can also be added, with the exception of Aleatico and Moscato.
The color is ruby red, and with aging it becomes more of a garnet. The aroma is characteristic and inviting for the Merlot grape, and the taste is dry and ample.
There is also a Colline Lucchesi Merlot Riserva.
