Bolgheri Rosato is produced from the same grapes as Bolgheri Rosso DOC, namely Cabernet Sauvignon (10-80%), Merlot (0-70%) or Sangiovese (0-70%), with permission to use other, local red grapes (0-30%).
Along with Bolgheri Bianco, this attractive, pink-colored rosato was the first DOC in the region, where it is quite popular. The aroma is vinous with a delicate bouquet and a dry, harmonious taste. It is enjoyed with most local dishes.
The minimum alcohol concentration is 11.5%.
