Colli di Scandiano e di Canossa Chardonnay SpumanteDOC has the following grape composition: Chardonnay (85-100%), Pinot Bianco and/or Pinot Noir and Pinot Grigio (0-15%).
This is a light straw colored, sparkling white wine, with a pleasant and delicate scent and a pleasant, fresh, smooth and soft taste.
The bubbles are obtained either by using the pressure tank (Charmat or Metodo Martinotti), or by fermenting in the bottle (Metodo Classico).
A still dry type, Colli di Scandiano e di Canossa Chardonnay DOC, and a semi-sparkling Colli di Scandiano e di Canossa Chardonnay Frizzante DOC are also available having the same grape composition.
