This is, actually, a very rare wine. Nevertheless, the grape composition of the light sparkling red wine, Colli di Scandiano e di Canossa Malbo Gentile DOC, consists of Malbo Gentile grapes (85-100%), Croatina and/or Sgavetta grapes (0-15%).
This is a ruby red wine, with a typical, intense scent. The taste is full-bodied and it ranges from dry (Secco) to slightly sweet (Abboccato or Amabile) or sweet (Dolce).
A semi-sparkling Colli di Scandiano e di Canossa Malbo Gentile Frizzante DOC, is also available.
