Colli di Scandiano e di Canossa Sauvignon Passito DOC has the same grape composition as the dry version, Colli di Scandiano e di Canossa Sauvignon DOC, namely Sauvignon grapes (90-100% and Malvasia di Cansia and/or Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio, Trebbiano Romagnolo, Chardonnay grapes.
The result is a golden, almost amber dessert wine, with a delicate, distinctive, harmonious, appealing and distinctive bouquet. The taste is inviting, sweet, smooth, full-bodied and velvety.
The minimum mandatory aging period is 1 year, the wine being released onto the market after November 10th of the year following the harvest.
Colli di Scandiano e di Canossa Sauvignon Passito DOC can be enjoyed and appraised on a quiet evening, or perhaps with an exquisite dessert.
