This straw-colored white wine is made from Sauvignon grapes (95-100%), with the permitted addition of other local, non-aromatic grapes (0-5%).
Colli di Parma Sauvignon DOC has a delicate, fine, aromatic and distinctive scent. The taste is dry, almost flint-like, extremely full-bodied, fresh and balanced with a slightly bitter aftertaste.
A light sparkling Frizzante and a sparkling Spumante type are also available. The latter is either produced through the Metodo Classico or through the Charmat method. The characteristics of the Spumante type are the same as for the other types, except that it, of course, has fine, attractive foam and persistent bubbles.
A barrel-aged Colli di Parma Sauvignon Riserva DOC is also available.
