Colli di Parma Pinot Bianco DOC is a more or less intense straw-colored white wine, made from the Pinot Bianco grape (95-100%), with the permitted addition of other non-aromatic, certified grapes (0-5%). The wine has a distinctive scent and a dry, harmonious taste.
A light sparkling Frizzante and a sparkling Spumante type are also available from the same grape composition. The Colli di Parma Pinot Bianco Spumante DOC is either produced through the Metodo Classico or through the Charmat method. The characteristics of the Spumante type are the same as for the other types, except that it, of course, has fine, attractive foam and persistent bubbles.
Colli di Parma Pinot Bianco DOC is also available as a barrel-aged Colli di Parma Pinot Bianco Riserva DOC.
