This red wine has the same grape composition as with the Val di Cornia Merlot (and Superiore), namely Merlot (85-100%). Local red grapes may also be added (0-15%).
The color is clear, ruby red with a vinous and delicate bouquet. The taste is dry, smooth, balanced and very ample.
The minimum alcohol concentration is 12.5% and the aging requirement is a minimum 24 months.
