Colli di Scandiano e di Canossa Sauvignon Riserva DOC has the same grape composition as its non-barrel aged little brother, namely Sauvignon grapes (90-100%) and Malvasia di Candia and/or Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio, Trebbiano Romagnolo, Chardonnay grapes.
This is a straw-colored white wine, with a typical, delicate and pleasant bouquet. The taste is dry, fresh and soft, with a balanced body and notes from the barrel. This is a tasty and distinctive white wine.
The minimum mandatory aging period is 18 months, of which at least 6 months in wooden barrels starting November 1st of the harvesting year.
