Wine: Golden
Colli di Scandiano e di Canossa Sauvignon DOC is, as the name suggests, made from Sauvignon grapes (90-100%) and Malvasia di Candia and/or Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio, Trebbiano Romagnolo, Chardonnay grapes.
The result is a straw-colored wine, with a typical, delicate and pleasant bouquet. The taste is dry, fresh, tasty and distinctive, with a balanced body.
The wine is an excellent accompaniment of fish soup or white meat.
A dessert type, Colli di Scandiano e di Canossa Sauvignon Passito DOC, is also available, as well as a barrel-aged Colli di Scandiano e di Canossa Sauvignon Riserva DOC, which is rather unusual for white wines.
