This semi-sparkling red wine is produced from the same grape varieties as the still type, Colli di Scandiano e di Canossa Rosso DOC, which means Marzemino grapes (50-100%), Cabernet Sauvignon and/or Malbo Gentile (0-35%), with the permitted addition of other local, non-aromatic red grapes (15-50%).
Colli di Scandiano e di Canossa Rosso Frizzante DOC is a dry, pleasant and extremely full-bodied red wine, with a distinctively fruity scent, with floral hints. The wine has a lively and volatile foam.
