This semi-sparkling red wine has the same grape composition as the still type, Colli di Scandiano e di Canossa Marzemino DOC, namely Marzemino grapes (85-100%), Croatina and/or Sgavetta, Malbo Gentile grapes (0-15%).
Scandiano e di Canossa Marzemino DOC is a ruby red wine, with a typical and intense fragrance. The taste is full-bodied, with herbal hints. This is an appealing wine, available as either dry, sweetish or sweet.
The bubbles are produced after a second fermentation in the pressure tank (Metodo Martinotti).
The dry type is best enjoyed with food, while the sweet type is best served with desserts.
