The result is a more or less deep and intense straw-colored wine. The scent is very intense and varied, and the taste varies from dry to sweet and sweetish, but regardless of the types, it is balanced, aromatic and fresh. The wine has light and fine foam.
The dry type is best enjoyed with food, while the sweet wine is a good accompaniment with dessert.
A still Colli di Scandiano e di Canossa Malvasia DOC version, as well as a sparkling Colli di Scandiano e di Canossa Malvasia Spumante DOC, are also available.
